    I have the GPSmap 276Cx APAC. When I unlocked the map with gimgunlock-0.04 and copied the unlocked map into my handheld (276cx), I can't not find the map added in the 276cx. How can I do with it?

    I wonder if I can still update the maps and firmware via Garmin Express after applying the patch? My 276CX is Chinese version, with the life time city navigator map of China. I don't want to drop this benefit.

    I updated the pathed firmware, but the map can't be found in the 276Cx. Is there any other solution?

    If Patched Firmware has been correcly flashed you should see 2.41 as Firmware version
    Where have you copied Maps? Which Name have the Maps files?
    You should copy Maps in folder \Garmin, either internal memory or external SD, leaving Names untouched.
    You can try to Reboot your Device too

    I have attached the file (had to rename .txt as it said invalid file as xml). My 32gb usb isn't recognised by the system so i have to find another stick before trying Firefox's method.

    Please delete GarminDevice.txt for safety reason!

    My humble conclusion:
    1. You need to update the system SW. But it is not available from Garmin server. Only contact with the dealer is required in your case.
    2. In garmindevice.txt was found gmapprom.img as exclusive name of a map file. Weird!
    But you can try to use gmapprom1.img. This filename is used in 7.11 version for NA region.

    FYI one I have is the same,no supplemental map listed

    Hi all,

    I downloaded the two map files from the first post (gmapprom(8360)N.rar) (D6210110A(8360)S.rar) and also the gmap3d(8360).rar.

    I put them on an SD-card an the garmin folder. Normally I should be able to see maps on my Etrex Touch, but not this time. I get the error "cant verify maps". I am used to that message though.

    Anyone knows what I might have done wrong?
