Thanks Genius3, this has got me out of a real hole (I land in the UAE later in the week and have left my UAE maps SD card at home.... I can now create a new one rather than having to rent a nav from Hertz!

can you help with JCV file for my nuvi 775 with 4.3" screen?

p.s. I have only garmin folder in my device with JCV sub folder (no .system folder) ... shall I place the JCV in the garmin\JCV folder? and how can I verfiy that the device acknowledged it ?

Nuvi 775 doesn't have \.System folder, it's an old Device.
The right folder for JCVs is \Garmin\JCV.
Download JCV Lane Assist Portrait Full - D4385170A.JCV from Post 1
Remember that this JCV is designed for Split-View Devices, your Device, instead view JCVs in Full Screen. It works but you will see the images a little grainy.
To verify JCVs simply simulate a Route that includes some Highway Exit
