Unfortunately nothing like a TripAdviser .gpi

Hi guys. I'm trying to install maps on garmin nuvi 40 but it can't read maps. I copied .img to microSD in folder Garmin with gmapssup.img. Also tried to name folder Map, but it doesn't read maps. It gives me error no maps. Will these maps for Nuvi 40 or I should used older NT maps? Thanks

If you name Map as you wrote, I belive Device doesn't regognize it. The correct Name is gmapsupp.img.
A very common Error Users do is renaming Map when they don't view Files extensions creating a File with a double extension (ex: gmapsupp.img.img).
This leads to an Unreadeble Map File.
Review your procedure.

Thanks for quick reply. That was not a problem, but I made mistake and formatted card in NTFS. When I changed to FAT32 it worked thanks again

nyky, when i copy files on my garmin sd card, I can only see 2020.10 ALL SOUTH??
Device is 3670...

gmapsupp unlocked -> NORTH
Copy to SD card into directory Garmin\

gmapsupp unlocked -> SOUTH
Copy to SD card into directory Map\

That's all.

P.S. Check. Is this the nuvi 3760?

Yes the device is nuvi 3760, but when I copy maps, device only can see map in Garmin directory.
Btw, nuvi 3760 is up to date..

Try putting both North & South in the Map folder as gmapsupp.img and gmapsup1.img
Check out your garmindevice.xml ,this shows where your device looks for supplemental maps, in this case the Map folder
