Hello dear , thank you for your post , I do have a nuvi 1300 , can you please help with more details how to upgrade the maps ?I download the maps from post #12 after unpacking them with winrar I got many files and folders, which one to put on the SD card? few years ago I used to put only one file with the extension like this "gmapsupp.img"

Nüvi® 1300 only requires NT map.
The name is gmapprom or gmapsupp or ...

Download the map and name it in gmapsupp and copy it to SD Card in Garmin\ directory.

Path is:
SD card Garmin\ gmapsupp
That's all you need to do.
Other things are not for the device nuvi 1300.

Dear Genius3 Thank you so much for your help , I truly appreciate your post . I do have another question please if you don`t mind I just download the map called " CN Middle East & N Africa NT 2019.20 " how to add it to the SD card? do I have to change the maps names? can I use multiple maps like North America and Middle east at the same time? if yes do I need to modify any thing? pardon me for my questions as it`s new for me to discover such world, many many thanks again .

You can have multiple maps on the SD card.
I do not know what all the nuvi 1300 supports.
Try the following:
Rename the MENA map into gmapsup1 and copy it to the SD in the Garmin\ directory.
Try also to copy this map to an SD card in the Map\ directory (on nuvi 2xxx works fine).

Thank you very much for your reply , I did rename MENA map to gmapsupp1.img and I put it in the folder GARMIN on the SD CARD after rebooting I`m only able to see the new north america 2020 maps loaded but not MENA maps.
is there any other way?
