    @olivier1004, welcome to the forum.

    Try to do the following:

    1. Copy the map to the SD card in the Garmin\ or Map\ directory and insert it into the slot of the device, and start the BaseCamp
    or
    2. Copy the map to the USB key in the Garmin\ or Map\ directory, and then start the BaseCamp

    It works for me.

P.S. If you have not solved the problem, try the following:
Use Javawa Device Manager to enable gps map visibility in Basecamp.

I have successfully downloaded both V5 SUD.img and V5 NORD.img files, but I do not know what to do next. When I click on it, the mac os gives a message of damaged files and refuses to mount them?
    Can someone help me?
    Thank you so much.

    Hi,

Copy the files in a garmin folder on your Gps or microsd card.

That's what I thought and that's what I did. but in the "configure maps" menu on the GPS (Oregon 600), the new maps do not appear. Should I create a folder? Is there anything else to know or do? Thank you in advance for your help.

I checked the files on the SD card. In fact they are not there. I then tried to copy them again in different ways (by connecting the gps or by copying directly to the micro SD card to an adapter.) The copying process seems to proceed normally but after ejecting and reconnecting the previously copied files dont appear more? They are nowhere .... Anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance

    Hello
Just copy the img file from the topo map to the GARMIN folder of the micro SD card as it was written in # 26

    Hello all together!

I downloaded successfully both parts (north and south) and copied the both img-files on an micro-sd. And it's working in the GPS-unit properly.
BUT I can't manage to make the southern part being recognized by Basecamp. The nothern part is working fine ... As soon as I choose "TOPO France v5 PRO Entičre Sud" (=V5 SUD.img) Basecamp realizes a mistake and does not open the map. As I wrote - the northern Part is working fine.

Does anybody know what to do?
It would be nice to use the maps not only on the GPS device but also in Basecamp for planing activities.

Another question: what's about the db-file in the SQL-folder. Is it not necessary or did Garmin forget it? :-)

Thanks a lot for your help and your responses!
