Sorry for being such a noob but I'm having a hard time with the ZPAQ, can you suggest a good tutorial or explain how to extract these files?

Easiest way is just use for all of it.
Otherwise just using ZPAQ stand alone from does it.

NOTE:
The download works but it's slow.
I recommend using Download Tools
I wanted to use Gmaptool to split the images,etc....
Unfortunately locating cgpsmapper seems to be elusive since support for it stopped at the original website, gmaptool is easy to find but requires cgpsmapper. Searched for cgpsmapper and there is only one source that I could find located at Malwarebytes shows it to have a PUP. I found an old version of cgpsmapper on an old hard drive that I did use (which does not show an issue with Malwarebytes).. FWIW
Is the latest version of Garmin Topo US downloadable somewhere. The links in this thread have all disappeared.
This obscure ZPAQ idea is the dumbest move I've seen in a long time. Taking a lot longer than the previous downloads...first figure it out, then run, then eventually bomb out trying to recreate someone else's personal archive structure into folders that don't exist on my machine......don't waste your time on this one.
ZPAQ has the highest compression ratio of all packers and is packaged with pzip which is free and open source.. It's not stupid to people on crappy connections which you didn't consider cause you're an inexperienced kiddy...
Using RAR over 7zip could be called stupid too it falls behind in compression efficiency in every benchmark on the internet and is closed source..
If you're going to deal in warez you might want to know what you're talking about to some extent..
On Topic: 6.0 is still current for 100k TOPO
I solved the problem. Thanks
Can someone update the links?
