    The "JNX Defines" Update is usefull for some newer Device, it'is Not necessary for GPSMAP 64/64s

    Hi.This is the problem with the nuvi 200 HWID 0834 "GPS SW Version: 0.00m".He throws such a message on the screen all the time "GPS Firmware Update Complete".Can anyone help with this problem?Thanks in advance.

    This is a Patched Firmware (JNX + Unlocked Maps) for GPSMAP276cx ver. 5.90
    Since the GPSMAP276cx (HWID: 2479) does not have the GSV and falls into category 2
    MSV: Yes, GSV: ---
    In this case the Patched Firmware guarantees the correct reading of Unlocked Maps, including NTU and TOPO Maps with CP 65001.
    The Patched Firmware guarantees reading of BirdEyes JNX images too.
    Also, in this case the "patched" Firmware can be loaded through the normal update procedure via WebUpdater

    It would help if you told us what the HWID is, guess it is 2479 from the FW version & not 3262 the APAC model
    Please help me understand, if you have the device you can use Garmin Express to get the update & if you don't have the device why do you need the update ?

    I also have Drive 61 but mine is software version 620
    Will this work for my unit?

    From the garmindevice.xml in the Garmin folder:
    <PartNumber>006-B2587-00</PartNumber>
    <SoftwareVersion>620</SoftwareVersion>

    From the unit device information:
    Software version 6.2
    GPS Firmware: 9.00.00

    Best not to downgrade your Software to 6.00 use the later version

    Make sure your device is fully charged.
    Unpack contents to fresh SD card formatted FAT32
    Ensure your device is fully OFF (not in standby), insert the card in device and power on.
    "Loader" will appear on screen for a while then the device will boot up when the flash of patched firmware is complete.
    Your device may reboot its self during the process just be patient.

    Your SD card will have a new file named 154.bin this is a backup of the device's non-volatile memory region and may save your device later if needed, so keep a copy of it somewhere safe.
