This is an android device.
Because the update provided by Carmax Garmin is an older version of the map.
You must patch if you want to use the latest version of the map.

Thanks I got the files .
B236600.update 210 MB (220,710,202 bytes) is the FW for your android device this cannot be patched with the Universal Patcher.
Who said "You must patch if you want to use the latest version of the map."there is no gupdate.gcd to be patched.
Check out the file structure of the update file

Please, I need information which files should be used for Garmin Drive 5s LMT-S and does it need to bee unlocked to use new maps.

your device will need to be Patched to use Unlocked maps
If you read a few of the latest posts, you will see you will need to tell us what is your HWID or use Search This Thread using your HWID numbers as a Patch most probably exist.
Look in the Garmin folder for garmindevice.xml open it with Internet Explorer.
