    I'm using a Garmin Edge 820 for biking. I Always patched my firmare with IMGPatcher v. 1.30 for using my Garmin Topo_DE V8 map.
    This still works fine.
    But, now I bought a Garmin Edge Explore HWID 3011 for my wife and I also wanted to use the topo map on that device.
    So I tried the same on the Edge Explore I did on the Edge 820. IMGPatcher is not working with the Edge explore Firmware, so I took the JNX Loader Patcher 3.80 and used the 4.10 Firmware from Garmin with the patcher. Renamed it to GUPDATE.GCD and put it on the device.
    System was updated fine but I still can't use the Garmin topo map. It is not shown in the Maps list.
    What am I doing wrong? Or what do I have to do different on the Edge explore, to get that map working?

    Last version of IMGPatcher is 2.20 of Oct 15 2019 (see Attachment)
    Altough EdgeExplore firmware (HWID: 3011) seems to be recognized by the Patcher it doesn't work

    The issue has been reporter to developer ...
    Meanwhile you can try to overcome problem by changing Code Page of Map. from NTU 65001 to NT 1252 (use     ImgTool v1.10.2)
    If you don't know how to proceed I will prepare a little guide

    Thanks for helping me man
    I changed the Maps Code page and that worked fine. map is now accessible on the device !
    Tried the imgpatcher and it works with fw 4.40. Not working with 4.60 or 5.00 !

    DriveSmart 61/DriveTrack 71 fw 6.30.rar SD card Kit FWID 2588 ONLY

    Make sure your device is fully charged.
    Unpack contents to fresh SD card formatted FAT32
    Ensure your device is fully OFF (not in standby), insert the card in device and power on.
    "Loader" will appear on screen for a while then the device will boot up when the flash of patched firmware is complete.
    Your device may reboot its self during the process just be patient.

    Your SD card will have a new file named 154.bin this is a backup of the device's non-volatile memory region and may save your device later if needed, so keep a copy of it somewhere safe.
