I could use your help. I have a 276cx that runs many unlocked maps but does not run AutoDriveHellas v5.3 [or any version for that matter]. The same unlocked map runs fine in my Nuvi device. Is there anything special about the 276cx and AutoDriveHellas? I am running the 4.8 version [most current] of the software. Maybe it needs to be patched? If yes, is there a patch for version 4.8? if yes, could you share a link please? I am not sure how to apply the patch... so any step-by-step instructions will be more than welcome. Updating is very simple:
1) Extract GCD File from Archive
2) USB connect Device to PC
3) Run WebUpdater (be sure to have an active Internet connection, WebUpdate requires it)
4) Drag&Drop patched GCD File over WebUdater window
5) Firmware flashing start
6) After Device reboot you have New Patched Firmware on board

Very-very helpful.....After extracting the file from Post #607, I renamed it to GUPDATE.GCD and placed the file in the root directory of the internal drive of the 276cx and on the Garmin folder of the internal drive [I did not know if it would work and what directory the file should have been placed.... so I placed it on both directories.....]. Turned the 276cx off and on again, it recognized the file and it updated the firmware to the new patched one....An alternate way to using the webupdater. On another note, just to share the experience, there are instructions on various web sites how to patch the official firmware utilizing some executable files available in the web......The key word was "available" I was able to find the official firmware after a couple of hours looking around, I found a number of sites claiming that I could download the executable files for the patch but the files were not available in any of them. All lead to various advertisements etc etc. Thank you once again for all the help and the patched file. Mario

This is a Patched Firmware (JNX + Unlocked Maps) for GPSMAP64sx ver. 2.20
Since the GPSMAP64sx (HWID: 3431) does not have the GSV and falls into category 2
MSV: Yes, GSV: ---
In this case the Patched Firmware guarantees the correct reading of Unlocked Maps, including NTU and TOPO Maps with CP 65001.
The Patched Firmware guarantees reading of BirdEyes JNX images too.
Also, in this case the "patched" Firmware can be loaded through the normal update procedure via WebUpdater

Hi everyone. I have Garmin Drive 50 LM, Software version 5.90, GPS Firmware 5.10.07, HWID 2267.
There are installed Maps of UK and Ireland, but I want install whole Europe 2020.20.
As I understood, i should install patched firmware in order to install unlocked maps.

If anyone could assist I will be so grateful
