In those posts we talk about some malfunctins with last releases of firmware.
I don't have such a device to try.
You can test by yourself the firmware, if no issues with the latest release there are no reasons to downgrade.

Downgrade of firmware should be not necessary, as I force a release 8.81 in Package.
You must be sure the device is completly shutdown before apply the Patch.
I remember that the Patch must be applied using microSD only, doing it manually won't work.

Hello, i can't find any information about echomap devices. Can someone answer about the possibility of avoid authenticate in this devices?

Has installed SD flash kit only for HWID 2586 devices(Drive 51). After the installation was completed, the GPS do not recognize any of my SD card.
Have any of you a solution to this problem?

You have to specify which release, and from which post you have downloaded it.
Also, what and where have you put in SD?

I downloaded from post #161.
Save the maps in the folder Garmin on the SD card. Has maps that worked before the patch and unlocked maps.The GPS did not find any map.

Is there a way to find an instruction on how to patch GPSMAP 64s, HWID 006-B1859-00, Software Version 500 ?

Did you make any changes to the Maps? For example: did you rename the Maps?
If Yes, you are sure that you have not set a double file extension.
In any case, try again to apply the Patch

The GPSMAP 64s needs ONLY Patched Fimware. To load it simply use WebUpdater.
