one interesting observation. Maps are loading fine after your patch.

I removed gmapbmap.img from the device and now routing are disabled for the 2 asian region maps.
(Cannot Calculate Route) error


search for POIs still possible though. This means device was routing via basemap information.

So its the asian *img file that has routing disabled somehow, using gimgunlock 0.04 doesn't work.

Can someone please post a custom SD card flash kit for Drivesmart 61; HWID 2588; with firmware 4.1 or older?

Apparently the newer firmware forces GPS to keep restarting when connected to a traffic receiver. The latest firmware is 4.5.

tested map with a nuvi 40LM (US Set)..zumo 590 and a BMW Navi V and routing does work.

Seems like it is the device firmware for zumo 396 that is preventing route calculation
my zumo 396 is a USA set

After flashing with patched firmware 3.70 everything works fine, I can see unlocked maps and no restarts anymore. I will try it with patched firmware 4.10 in the next days.
