You don't say what device ,but maybe the older version worked because it included your device ,the updated version 2.20 adds more recent devices

This is a Patched Firmware (JNX + Unlocked Maps) for GPSMAP276cx ver. 5.80
Since the GPSMAP276cx (HWID: 2479) does not have the GSV and falls into category 2
MSV: Yes, GSV: ---
In this case the Patched Firmware guarantees the correct reading of Unlocked Maps, including NTU and TOPO Maps with CP 65001.
The Patched Firmware guarantees reading of BirdEyes JNX images too.
Also, in this case the "patched" Firmware can be loaded through the normal update procedure via WebUpdater

I cannot read the cracked maps on the ECHOMAP plus 42CV GPS.
Unfortunately the message is still the same:
