Hi guys, question about street numbers in villages (big cities are OK). Two devices, same map, same SD card with unlocked map. In one device I can find street with the house number, on second device street only. Map NT 2023.10 Central & Eastern Europe. Wanna find address with street number. I can find street numbers in biggest cities with no problem on booth devices. Here they works as is needed. If this map is in device Nuvi 1490 then I can find street with the house number 120. If I put this same map to Nuvi 765, then I can search only by street. I put the City, put the Street, and yes, Nuvi 765 ask for House number, so i write 120, but the results are without number 120, only streets. Same procedure with Nuvi 1490, and when I wrote 120, then i got result "Street 120". Why not in 765? Booth uses NT maps, booth have latest firmware etc, booth devices have this one and only map. Tried tooo map from SD or in internal device - still same. Simply everything is same.

Big cities looks OK on booth devices, but in "this" small village, where are no streets names, only Village numbers, on 765 not, on 1490 yes.

yes, I did many and many Garmin updates by these years, and to yesterday never see too. I asked Garmin support and they wrote me, that is possible due that new maps are more detailed and bla bla, then some older softwares can t read all. You can try Czech Republic, Frycovice 120 - on any other Garmins with NT, which we have now here, I got exactly Frycovice 120 with same NT map, on this 765 i got only Frycovice, even if there is option for entering the house number. I enter 120, but answer is 3 lines with 3 times Frycovice.

Just tested all my GPS units.

Like I said and my Garmin's are in English but they show names with the accents.
Country "Czech Republic"
City "Frycovice"
Number 120 <---------------I always get the window to add "Enter House Number"
Street "Frycovice"

But just as easy bypass the house number if I want and it will not list any house numbers at all just like you screen shot for this street.
Are you bypassing putting in house number to get these results???

What happens if you pick another location street with house number???

Show screen shots of each step you take on the Garmin that has the problem.

4.50, unless another member has the same device they will get the same result as you on your nuvi 1490 ,that it works as you would expect.

Mapsource shows a difference between two different maps similar to what you are describing. I do NOT have a nuvi 765 anymore so cannot actually test & the reason I have not responded to your post before. If you download this small 8MB

and use it on your nuvi 765 as i did in the picture we will be able to see if this problem is map specific as well?
