What are you trying to patch? It could be different things:

    • Patch firmware to use unauthorized radio frequency to link compatible collars (i.e. use US device with collar in EU):
      Link URL:

. Changing collar to the same frequency of a different regional device or vice versa. i.e. when they are from different regions is not so easy, e.g. US device with EU collar.
    • Patch firmware to read other than it's OEM maps:
      Link URL:

    • Patch firmware to use JNX files without BirdsEye subscription:
      Code:

PS: Are you sure that's the HWID of your Alpha 100?

The patcher itself is very easy to use and mostly self-explanatory. Ensure that pcre.dll is in the same directory as FirmwarePatcher.exe or the latter won't run. Follow this:

Instead of selecting a file via Browse, you can simply drag and drop a GCD or fw_all.bin onto the GUI to start the patcher.

Go to the following site see how to load the patched firmware to the device:
    Code:
Only the registered members can see the CODE Contents. Please Login OR Register.

The above is far more detailed than what i'd post here and will also help other readers with their particular devices. My additional input: Important! If your device supports updates from SD card you should put the gupdate.gcd file in a Garmin folder there rather than internal memory (i.e. use SD:\Garmin\gupdate.gcd). That way a corrupt GCD won't 'brick' the device by being unreadable because you can simply force the device off then remove the card to allow the device to boot normally. Additonally, ensure you have no JNX files on the device when you load patched firmware.

The actual patcher is linked indirectly in the TopoLusitania site too. The direct link is here:
