I have an issue with an old Garmin Nuvi 1410 where I cannot download routes from Basecamp to the device. Am running running version 4.6.2 and reading the forums there seems to be problems with version 4.7.x. I also have a Garmin Montana 600 which works fine. When the 1410 route is displayed on Basecamp it shows as downloaded. After unplugging the device the routes aren't available. Attaching the device back to the PC shows no routes. So either the routes aren't download or they are deleted when the device is removed. Interesting when a route is created on the 1410, it shows in Basecamp but is protected, ie. no editing. Has anyone had an issue like this with Basecamp and old Garmin devices?

Nuvi do not support a direct loading of routes! You have to import routes via Tools-My data-Import Routes. Probably it will be recalculated according to of existing map.
