I have a Nuvi 2460 that works without patching for Navigator EU 2019.30 but it won't recognize newer maps, including 2201.30 and 2202.10. I tried to follow the patcher instructions but the GCD file on Garmin's website has no direct download link - only "use GarminExpress". Before I find a way around this, is it likely my device will benefit from the patch when it's perfectly happy with 2019.30? The listing for the 24xx says SWVS=360, MAP=Yes, GMA=yes, MSV="-", GVS=yes. Not sure where that leaves me.

The maps I downloaded here claim to be fully unlocked. Running gimgunlock-0.04 just "skips" all the entries without finding anything to unlock. I downloaded 2019.30 from here a few years ago (actually has 58firefox filename) with success but 2021.30 and 2022.10 fail to open. The threads that include the latter two maps may be so long that I didn't follow the entire conversation and downloaded links too early in the topiic.

I also tried the unlock_alternative program, but it doesn't change anything. Unfortunately, any messages scroll off the screen when it ends. I've even tried a slo-mo video of the screen and it goes by too fast.

I fixed my problems by reformatting my cards to FAT file system. I did a file compare between a working card and bad card and found no differences. My microSD cards were formatted for something else when I started.
