) manually downloaded from GP and installed as a .gpi file for Middle East only in the POI folder. However they dont seem to show up on the map when using the Garmin. Looked in settings and in Diagnostic page if there are any additional settings. NONE that I can find.
Unless the POI file is not compatible with Garmin original maps and will only work on unlocked maps and have to use the "filmware Patcher for protected Garmin Devices"

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

try putting the POI in a POI folder on a sd card,
by starting the gps should prompt you if you want to install the new POI.

I told you to try applying the Patch available here:

You reported that you weren't able to apply the Patch.
Now I propose 2 alternatives:

1. Test with GPI attached (Middle_East_safetycam_07-11_UnLocked.rar)
2. Try applying SD Package Patch using the following Package (I revised the above package and, maybe, somethings was wrong)
