Transform device to another type

My DriveSmart 50 (dezl580) after 1 month of normal use and testing is all ready dead.
After 10 times trying to reflash via updater (Flash x Dezl580), only one time start to flash but no success.
So I had try with cure but I think I need GUPDATE from dezl 580, because it can not start with normal cure from Drivesmart 50 GUPDATE...

I suspect its broken but Ill try with cure from Dezl 580 GUPDATE if you have?

i lost the TMC DAB function if i want to go back to the previous version, what is the procedure?

Yes, probably, I had try many times to CURE but no luck
Don't worry, sometimes this models have problems without flash, I'll still like to combine and play with garmin
I bought one more from ebay from Germany and waiting to arrive in Bosnia and I'll try again
Remember how many 1390, 1490 had a problem with logo and 1 of 10 or 20 cant be cured because of motherboard (hardware) problem.

I just had! to try this when spoon1 started this thread. Since lots of Nuvi devices can be had for practically a song these days, I kept my eye on FB marketplace until 2x 2589s showed up for $30. I flashed one and kept the other as backup even though $15 would not be a huge loss. It's been over a month now and device is rock solid so far. Not a single glitch other than the need for GTM60 to get traffic back. So thanks again, spoon1!

On a side note, we all tinker with these devices, some more than others and we like to think we know "a thing or two" about them. Then B1ng0 or "The Mod" chips in on a post and we realize how much more there is to learn and explore. Your help, expertise and sharing your knowledge is much appreciated, guys!

before processing the Garmin drivesmart 50 I forgot to delete the "GUPDATE" file, now that the device turns on it doesn't work my touchscreen. What solutions?

try to retun to original navcore for drivesmart 50 ...then you'll repeat procedure trasforming into dezl again
