Transform device to another type

Nuvi 2599 successfully converted to Dezl 570, nonvol cleared few times.
Worked well for few days, but now on every reboot ask for initial setup - can't save anything. (home, parameters, language settings, etc...)

Reverted back to stock Nuvi 2599 software, but don't help...

Any suggestion?

Silly question but have you driven around a bit with a good GPS fix after the initial setup? I had a similar issue with a different unit where I forgot I had to drive to have the unit "remember" that I'd successfully re-setup everything... and went through an embarrassingly long period of frustration before realizing my mistake!

Yes, successfully converted, but there is new problem - can't use unlocked maps anymore.
So I will ask for HWID 2237 unlock kit on another topic.

deleting GUPUPDATE.GCD or copying it to internal memory?
