I have installed Western Europe and North America maps on a number of different Garmin models, either on micro sd card or the units flash memory. This seems to lead to a conflict when searching for an address in France in that it always defaults to searching french territories covered by the North America map - Guadalupe, Martinique etc. As a result it is impossible to search for mainland France addresses such as France or Lyon. The only way I have found to stop this is to deselect the North America map.

Has anyone else encountered this and is there another way of fixing the issue?

Thanks.
