I've been successfully patching my Drive 61 (HWID 2587) since V6.20 - but now for some reason it's not working
I patched and installed V6.60 recently, which screwed up the graphics sizes, so I thought I would update to 6.70.
Unfortunately I can't get the SD card to boot the firmware. Has any of the patching software been updated? I'm using Firmware Patcher V1.20, and RGN Tool V0.78.
Any ideas?

Fixed!
The GPS would not see the SD card and load the FW if I turned it off, inserted the card then turned it on, but when I inserted the card with the unit already turned on, it saw the card and started the loader immediately.
Strange, but now it works!

I have tried to add the 2022 files to my Garmin Nuvi 56. I can not figure out how to get it to recognize the files. I transferred the unlocked maps for the North and add them to the SD under Maps or under Garmin and even renamed the img to gmapsupp. Not have any luck, I am now downloading these.Can someone help me? BTW the latest NA map was to large so it moved it to the SD card. I have tried to install the Europe map on the device drive and also the SD card but still not had any success.

I moved your post as you didn't say if you Patched your device to enable it to use Unlocked maps ?
Look in the garmindevice.xml & confirm your HWID
<PartNumber>006-B1697-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>560</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>nüvi 56</Description>
Only if HWID is 1697

I patch my Garmin DriveTrack 70 with this information and now I have:
<PartNumber>006-B2268-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>601</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>Garmin DriveTrack™ 70</Description>
That's fine, but I put a .jnx map in the SD folder and internal storage \Garmin\BirdsEye and can't see anything
I don't understant what is the problem? Any solution?

You must Patch Firmware also whith JXNFirmwarePatcher to see ByrdsEye Maps
Try this SD Pachage (it should be flashed surely as it has a FW version = 6.02)
DriveTrack 70 (2268) fw6.00 + JNX.rar (19.05 MB)
