Before diving in to the change CID pool, I’m trying to understand what I need to Have and Do.
Most info I find is from around 2016, so maybe thing got a little easier in the meanwhile

So some questions.

• Do you still need a Samsung EVO sd card, or are there other cards that also can get de CID altered?
• I see youtube movies with Linux, but also see windows programs to change the CID (AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional or sd toolbox for example. Can these also be used? (looks a lot easier)

Best scenario would be if some can post an easy step by step tutorial. 😃

But the persons that sell modifiable cards prepared with CID. Have to get them somewhere also.... so they are out there.

But I want to be able to re use the card every year, by writing the CID myself.
Can that be done with the software I mentioned?

Just looked through my old phones and found two old Samsung evo cards.
So If some can tell how to change the CID and maybe if the software AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional or sd toolbox are tools that can be used.
I can try it with these cards.
Also important issue, need a working link to download the MDF map (preferably 2020)

You can use a program on your smartphone to create the correct cid file on the SD card, so you could use any SD (mind the speed though, at first I bought one which was too slow, sync2 would go into recovery mode because of this).

This worked a while ago on my S7 or S9, not sure if it works these days.
I'll need to dig up the link though, let me know if it's worth it.
