Just to note that if you've already got the 2014 maps, the only difference with this version (correctly called 2014-15) is more up to date POIs. The map data itself is the same. The full 2015 maps won't be available till 1st quarter next year.

The added POIs mean this file won't fit on a 32GB card. You can try shrinking it by removing one of the folders within pkgdb (either LIT or LIT3GP) depending on whether you have 3G or 3G+

Do you expand the activator on the SDCard with the maps or on another SDCard? Or are you able to split the directories across the 2 Cards?

I was very pleased to find it covers the whole of Europe, including Eastern Europe and Baltic States

Hi from Bucharest, Romania. I have noticed a complete autobahn in Germany, one in Hungary and at least two Autostrada in Romania missing completely and in Holland. Hoping the 2015 new edition addresses these. Just as well I had Tomtom Android running as well. I see from

I have just ordered the latest Audi HDD upgrade and will share
AUDI MMI 3G HDD 2015 UPDATE V6.20.4

I will photograph the upgrade technique so it should be easy for you. Since mine will be a legitimate version, if you need to hack, that is up to you......
But I will show you how it is done properly

In your car is audi 3g+, not 3g high, but both of them use same maps 6.20.4 for 2015.

Did you get activation key together with maps, or you had to visit audi dealer for it, and they had to do activation?

I have subsequently received info from audisatnavs.co.uk that they cannot do for my car so refunding the money. So I will have to go to audi dealer for it. AFAIK you get DVD for software, SDHC for maps, and SD for activation based on VIN and yes mine is the 3G+


Not done anything yet as apparently it is done as part of service and not had service yet. So no info updates as yet, Sorry. still prefer tomton GO on mobile even though some roads still incorrect or missing but at least i know where i am going

Route planning is way better on tomtom and so is traffic

I have just had my car serviced by Audi in Bucharest and they upgraded to

I will check if the roads are sufficiently up to date and if routes are any better than before, because the older version really sucked and TomTom GO5100 is much better. Probably still is. At least it knows correct street names, whereas TomTom doesn't.

I certainly would not pay to get the update. I believe Audi want about £220, but it was included in the Service cost and I paid 477RON for the service which is £85 APPROX
