    Hi, could you describe in a detailed guide how you made the modified Navcore for the Mazda NVA-SD8110?

    Thank you.

    Hi All, I would love to hear if any progress has been made on this.

    I have just bought a 2013 Mazda with the NVA-SD8110 built in and the maps are from early 2013 and have never had an update.

    I have plugged it in to TomTom home and it says it is no longer eligible for map share updates.

    I'd seriously appreciate it if anyone could help me update it to a more recent version. I have the genuine SD card and I've backed it up via TomTom home and via a direct copy of the files on to my computer so I haven't started any form of cracking etc so it's a nice clean slate. Does anyone know where to start with this and if any information from my SD card is required to make sure I can track down the correct maps for the device etc?

    Thanks in advance.

    Which NC? I think, you need Carminat-maps (if NC 9.xxx) like Europe_980_7898 or one of the Carminat zoned-maps Europe_North_980_7898 or Europe_West_980_7898 (both with UK). But you must download (and pay) the map from TomTom, if your device-NC not patched. And this download could be the problem, if TT no longer support your device.

    Hi there and thanks very much for your reply. Here's some info from the device that I hope will help. Which one is the NC number?

    Serial Number=DF****N*****
    ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9867
    ApplicationVersion=1439959.520
    BootLoaderVersion=618231
    CurrentMap=Europe
    CurrentMapVersion=880.3812

    It's just the standard built in NVA-SD8110EU with European maps. It's never had any modifications by anyone until soon (hopefully! )

    Thanks in advance!

    ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9867 = NC 9.867. Currently not patchable (latest is 9.847), no way for map-downloads from here. You must find a way to receive new maps from TomTom.

    Ah, thanks for confirming. Is it perhaps a matter of waiting until there is a patch available?

    Is it possible I caused this problem by updating the SD card via TomTom Home when I got the car last week!? I do have a copy of the original SD card files BEFORE updating via TomTom Home; might it be possible to revert it to the old version of NC to then patch it?

    Quick Edit: I copied the original files on to an alternative SD card and the version just shows as 9864 so it's only a couple older on the original files.

    Is there no solution for me that doesn't involve having to pay TomTom lots of money to get basic updates to the maps?

    I think: in both cases "NO", if @simba does not perform a miracle.

    P.S: You don't have a NB1 and you don't need make full-quotings. You can make a direct-answer by "Reply". Or do you like something like this :

    @simba
    do you know if there is a solution for patching sd8110

    You seem to know a lot - maybe someone else patched it and you can post the link.
