If your patched NC is 10.854, you can make an official update by TT-Home to 10.855. This always work.

Think I found the "solution". My 4 GB SD card was too small to store all files. So i decided to not copy a few files which I did not recognise as mandatory as they wheren 't available on my origional SD card as well. Now I decided to switch over to a 8 GB and installed all files and guess what: it works!

I don't think that solution works for me. I have been using an 8gb SD card before the tmc traffic issues started occuring.

How do you restore back to original if you don't have OEM navcore backed up which in this case should be file TTSYSTEM, isn't it? And you cannot update 10.855 to 10.855 with tom-tom home as it would be recognised as already updated?
