One XL problems ..

That has been a complete success Fredderf. I would have to say that navcore is certainly faster than my previous one.
It is all up and going perfectly. I didn't even have to fastactivate the map for some reason I just copied the one I had saved from the backup and it went ok.
Not too sure of the all the details of the XL but obviously even though you delete all files before adding the new ones there must be stuff left in the memory of the unit.
Anyway all good and yet to try on the road.

By the way I copied my voice details across and still have the street names working.

That's good to hear....I'm glad it all worked out well for you. Yes, the NC is nice and fluid and puts new life into an old XL

Btw, there would've been nothing held in memory, the reason your map didn't need patching was because you'd already patched it before the backup so it'd been good to go.
That's no big deal anyway, the main thing is that your device is now working with your voices.
